Everyone requires a break occasionally from the usual routine, and we all know when we really just need to “get away.” But the myth that you have to go on an expensive trip to enjoy your time off will leave you thinking, “Well… I can’t take a vacation because I can’t afford it right now.” Don’t miss out on being able to recharge simply because you can’t go to Paris or the Bahamas right now. Today I’m sharing my economical vacation to hopefully inspire you to chill a little!
I decided to take a week and visit my sister (and the rest of my family). I knew she had a pool, and her place was a change of scenery, so it was a no-brainer for me. I went there to relax and not make any plans, although we did end up doing some fun things! The first night we went to a rodeo and I even got to see my sweet little niece in some adorable sparkly boots! Too cute. The rest of the week consisted of pool time, Oceans 8, The Shakespeare Festival, baking, exploring historic Montgomery, and a day-trip to Pensacola Beach! Instead of blabbing more, I’m just going to add pictures :-).
Next time you’re in need of chilling out, create your own adventure that might be right next door <3.
